Exam prep tips that actually fit a school calendar
Most “exam tips” assume a student with a quiet desk. Schools need a different list: when CA is captured, when mocks happen, and when parents are allowed to see numbers.
Lock CA dates. If teachers can still edit week-4 tests during exam week, collation will lie. A system that timestamps score entry beats a WhatsApp reminder.
Treat mocks as a dress rehearsal for the pipeline, not only for students. If mock scores can’t be published the way term results will be, the mock taught the wrong lesson.
Tell parents what they will see. Live CA is useful; unexplained zeros are not. Decide whether parents see drafts or only published results — then stick to it.
SchoolKyber’s grading profiles (including WAEC/NECO-style setups) exist so the formula isn’t reinvented per class. Use one profile per school section, not one spreadsheet per teacher.
